Tragedy in Kars: 2 Lives Lost in a Fatal Accident

An unfortunate collision occurred between Erdem Zenci driving a light commercial vehicle towards Sarıkamış from Selim district of Kars, and Murat Can Çınar, who was entering the main road from Karahamza village.

As a result of the accident, drivers and passengers Yusuf Dere (19), Muhammed Salih Zenci (13), Ahmet Zenci (15), Volkan Aslan (31), and İsmet Doğan (42) were injured.

2 FATALITIES, 5 INJURED

The injured individuals trapped in the vehicles were rescued by the emergency teams. They were transported to hospitals in Kars city center and Selim district. İsmet Doğan taken to Selim State Hospital and driver Murat Can Çınar taken to Kafkas University Health Research and Application Center could not be saved.

CONDITION OF THE INJURED IS CRITICAL

It was reported that the condition of the 5 injured individuals is critical. Gendarmerie and police took extensive security measures on the road.
